15th-century Breviary
The Bréviaire de Marie de Savoie (1430) is a Milanese illuminated manuscript. A breviary (from Latin breviarium, "summary, abridgement") is a book containing the hymns, psalms, and prayers prescribed by the Roman Catholic Church that are to be recited for each day.
