This custom map shows approximate locations of power generating locations throughout the province that contribute to the main power grid managed by SaskPower. Differentiation between renewable and non-renewable fuel types are clearly noted with different colored markers. The map shows clustering of some generating locations in Southwestern Saskatchewan, and though there are a number of stations that utilize renewable energy fuel sources, the majority of the power genrated is through generation utilizing non-renewable fuels.
